What is the difference between neurotoxins for wrinkles?Neurotoxins like Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport, Xeomin are used to temporarily inhibit muscle contractions and thereby eliminate wrinkles around your eyes, across your forehead, and between your brows for about 3 months (individual results vary). Fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane (two brands also made by different companies) are hyaluronic acid particle substances that are used to restore fullness to your and other areas deemed appropriate during your initial consultation with your medical professional. Over time, we lose volume in our cheeks, under our eyes, and in our lips. Or perhaps, we just want fuller lips for cosmetic reasons. Products such as Juvederm and Restylane can add fullness to these areas to enhance our looks or make us look younger instantly. Fillers can last anywhere from 6-15 months with proper maintenance.
-
Are cosmetic injections safe? All injectable products offered at Queen Aesthetics are thoroughly vetted and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety.Queen Aesthetics does not provide any services that have not been thoroughly tested.

What is Kybella?Kybella is a FDA approved injection for submental (under chin) fat. It is normally completed in about 2-6 sessions spread out at 4-6 weeks apart to help improve your side profile by decreasing your double chin. It can be used to effectively treat fullness in the jowls as well. Tiny acid injections work over time to permanently destroy fat cells in the treatment area. Usually, 2-4 vials are required for optimal treatment. The solution is permanent, so once optimal treatment is achieved no future sessions will be required, as long as there is no excessive weight gain.
-
Can I have filler and Botox (neurotoxin) in the same treatment?Yes. For total non-surgical facial rejuvenation, Botox® Cosmetic and dermal fillers such as Juvederm® and Restylane® are often used together during the same appointment. There is no harm in doing both treatments during the same visit. If you require any other facial treatments like a hydrafacial or lasers, these need to be completed before injectables or at least 2 weeks after injectables.
-
What is the down time for a neuromodulator? The downtime after receiving BOTOX procedure is typically zero to none. You may get a few red bumps where the product is injected which will typically go down in about 30 mins. Post- treatment you can not lay down flat for 4 hours, no exercising for 24-48 hours post injection, no facials, massages or tight hats for at least 2 weeks! Your injector will go over all post procedure care at your visit.
-
What is the downtime for filler? The downtime/ recovery time, after getting Juvederm or Restylane dermal filler injections is very dependent on each guest and which areas you are getting injected. The most common side effect is swelling and bruising which is more common in the soft tissue (lips, NL folds, etc.) Some people may swell more than others and some do not swell at all. Some people may also experience bruising at or near the injection area. Typically, all symptoms will resolve themselves within a couple days or up to one week after the procedure.
-
What is the downtime for Kybella? There is typically no downtime after getting Kybella. You can expect that your under chin area will swell quite a bit and you will look worse before better. The whole process of the product eliminating the fat cells under your chin does take 4-6 weeks. Typically, people will need at least two treatments to see significant results and may need 3 or 4 treatments overall.

What is a PDO thread lift?PDO therapy is an innovative cosmetic technique that is designed to ramp up collagen production in order to subtly lift the facial features and counteract the signs of aging.
-
What areas can a PDO thread lift be used on?PDO therapy can be successfully used on various areas of the face including the cheeks, brow, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jawline and neck. It can also be used on the body, arms, thighs and abdomen. There are several different types of thread that can be used. Which will be recommended for you, will depend on the areas that you are targeting with the treatment and the type of improvement you are hoping to achieve. Your certified medical professional will go over all options and provide realistic expectations on treatment options and outcomes at your consultation.
-
How long is a PDO treatment?Precisely how long a PDO thread lift will take will depend on the area being targeted, but in most instances, it can be carried out in between 45 and 60minutes. Including preparation and the time following treatment, you can expect the entire appointment to last a maximum of 1-1.5 hours.
-
What are the side effects of a PDO thread lift?A great benet of a PDO thread lift is that the side effects are minimal. You may notice a little swelling and bruising that lasts for a few days, after which time it should fade. There is no downtime and you can get back to your usual routine right away. With all injections and minimally- invasive treatments there are always risks of rare but severe adverse reactions that your provider will discuss with you.
-
How long does it take to see the effects of the PDO thread liftsIt is important for patients to be aware that the results of a PDO thread lift are progressive. This is because they rely on the body’s natural production of collage in which takes time, rather than administering man-made versions into the skin. The lifting effect of PDO therapy reaches a peak at around 6 months post-treatment,after which time new collagen and elastin will have formed around the threads to tighten the skin and make the area look rmer, smoother and more youthful. The effects of treatment can potentially last between 2 and 3 years, after which time further treatment may be necessary to maintain your results.

What is an O-shot?O-Shot® procedure provides a very specific way of using the growth factors within PRP to stimulate multipotent stem cells to generate healthier and more functional tissue in the areas of sexual response and urinary continence within the vagina (G-Spot, O-Spot, Skene’s Glands, urethra, & vaginal wall). The O-Shot PRP injection is a new technique that helps women improve their sexual health andorgasm response with a single, simple treatment. The O-Shot® can also help improve symptoms of urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and orgasms. The easy in-oce procedure is safe and virtually painless.
-
What happens during an O-Shot Appointment?Your provider will draw a sample of blood and using a centrifuge will isolate platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in a process that takes about 10 minutes. While the blood is processing, the provider will apply a numbing agent to the injection site. When the area is numbed, and the PRP is ready, the provider will use a very thin needle to inject the PRP around the clitoris and upper vagina
-
What results can I expect from a O-Shot?For most women, the change is noticeable almost immediately. Women of all ages report an increased sensitivity of the clitoris and G-spot area resulting in stronger orgasms and multiple orgasms even when they have not experienced them before. The full effects may not be seen for up to three to four weeks after treatment. In rare cases, there may not be any noticeable effect, but the O-Shot can be repeated after eight weeks for women who want to see better results orboost the satisfactory effects of their rst shot.
-
How long does the effects of the O-Shots lastThe O-Shot® lasts up to three years or longer in some women. However, on average, women choose to repeat the procedure every 18 months to maintain their results. No side effects have been reported from procedures that involve injecting a person's own PRP back into their body. However, O-Shot® should not be used on patients who are pregnant, nursing, trying to get pregnant, have an active infection, have experienced hypersensitivity in the past or those who have severe allergies.Women who are experiencing any vaginal health issues should wait until they are resolved before getting the O-Shot®.After treatment, some women experience mild soreness that lasts less than 24hours. As with any injection, there may be a tiny amount of bleeding following the injection in rare cases. However, you can return to work, exercise and do any other activity you wish on the same day, including sexual activity
-
Can I repeat the O-shot?The majority of women have improved sexual function and sexual satisfaction after one O-Shot, but additional treatments have been found to provide additional benefits for many women. Some women choose to have ongoing maintenance treatments to tweak or renew their results. A second O-Shot can be administered after eight weeks.
